| Kuvailisin itseäni | i am a father, a friend and all nice guy who just want to be treated the same way i treat others to know what makes me, me; one almost needs to know the story of my parents. My dad saw my mom walk by the cafe he was at with some friend, he was 24 and she was 16 (that is how it is in my home country). He knew she was the one. to make the story short, he followed her to her home, knocked at the door and aske her mom for her hand. when my mom was asked if she wanted to marry him, she said yes. According to her when she looked at his eyes she could see her children. Corny? maybe but they were married for 41 years and died 4 months apart. I have never seen my father or heard him treat my mother with disrespect. the two loved one another the way we all deserved to be loved. I always looked up to my parents, I wanted to live by their example but i failed...I learned we all have to write our own success story but how others will read the story and interpret it is totally up to them. I just hope I will leave my son the same untarnished legacy my father left me. |
