I am a walking dichotomy: a sweet woman who adores her son, loves to laugh and smile, is loyal almost to a fault, very family-oriented, and likely one of the nicest people you will ever meet (if it comes to that.) But like most, I have a rebellious side, likely left over from my earlier, wilder days (I have a lot of cool stories to tell, wink wink!) Today, I am more mature and put my duties as a Mom before everything, and though I still know how to have a good time, I now know where to draw the line between being carefree and being stupid. I don't drink or smoke anymore, but have had so much better times and experiences since I gained the ability to recall them the next day without needing my friends to help piece things together.

I greatly enjoy tattoos, both the pain of getting them and the end result (I have 9 and counting.) I have also had almost every part of my body pierced at one time or another, though I am left with only my ears pierced after my favorite and final piece of jewelry had to be removed right before I had my son.

I am very adventurous, with a bucket list a mile long, and will try anything, whether it be an exhilarating activity such as skydiving (which I am dying to cross off that list!), or a new type of food or restaurant. A good example: last summer I was at Draper pool having fun with friends and family, taking turns jumping off the diving boards. Up until then I had never had the courage to do anything but single front flips, but that day I got a wild hair and decided to try a back flip. I climbed up to the high dive, took a few deep breaths...and did a double back flip. While I was at it, I tried and nailed a double front flip as well. I had done gymnastics for a couple years as a teen, but other than that, I was just being a daredevil, and loved the adrenaline rush!

My favorite way to spend a warm summer night is at an outdoor concert (or one indoors if it's a bigger show.) The last concert I went to was Shinedown w/Breaking Benjamin, but I have been to see so many other great shows (and from this list you can garner what kind of music I love): Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Seether, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Three Days Grace, Chevelle, Rage Against the Machine, A Perfect Circle, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch...you get the picture. Oh, and I am so excited to have tix to see Korn at USANA on July 20!

I am normally a very active person, but since having my son, I admittedly have spent more time watching TV than working out. But because going to the gym regularly used to be a really healthy and enjoyable habit, I have had the desire to get back into it pretty much ever since I quit. Luck is on my side, though, in that my body stays fit and strong no matter how active I am, so my primary motivation for getting back in there is that it makes me feel all-around incredible!

As of right now, my full-time job is to be the best Mommy I can be. I was working as a paralegal when I discovered I was pregnant, and for reasons completely out of my control, I was forced to leave the firm. I didn't have an easy pregnancy, so since then, my focus has been on my little one. I do want to return to work in the legal field when my son is a little older, but I also have my heart set on returning to school. I have an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, but have a very strong feeling that I have unfinished business, and still have a lot I could achieve in that regard. Further, though high school was a nightmare due to crippling social anxiety, I still was able to breeze through it. College, on the other hand, was often enjoyable, and the subject matter rarely ceased to interest me. I am not sure exactly what my plans are, but other subjects that interest me are criminology, sociology, psychology, and nursing.

If you've read up to this point, I am already interested in meeting you because I don't think any man would take the time if all he wanted was a fling. So, let's talk...
