I am a single mom (currently going through divorce) and am ready to move forward. I have learned a lot and know what I want in a partner. I have a young son who is the light of my life. He spends 70% of his time with me. I am just moving back to the Bay Area and would like to start building some friendships and see where things lead. I do not want to jump into a long term relationship, but am looking to eventually find that special someone to share my life with.

I am a fun, easy-going, honest, faithful, romantic, and loving lady who would eventually like to find someone to share my life with. I want someone that will be my best friend and confidante, partner, and lover. I want someone that understands that life has ups and downs and we can get through anything together. Communication is a must in a relationship.

A little more about me:
1) I LOVE music! Therefore, any man that sings or plays a musical instrument (esp. guitar, piano, or saxophone) has extra brownie points with me. Music truly touches my heart and my emotions.

2) I love a romantic. Candlelit dinners for two, slow dances, moonlit walks on the beach... you get the idea.

3) I have a wide variety of interests that include bowling, the beach, amusement parks, movies, dinner out, picnics in the park, anything with music... but more importantly..
I have learned that it isn't always about what you are doing but who you are doing it with.

4) My family is very important to me and I would like someone that feels the same way. I want them to be part of my family as much as I would like to be a part of theirs.

5)I am a very affectionate person. I love to hold hands, cuddling, hugging, kissing, etc. I think PDA (tastefully, of course) are wonderful (holding hands walking down the street, etc).

6) I try to always look at our blessings in life and would like someone who likes the same. Things don't always go as planned in this world but sometimes things that are even better than expected happen. Enjoy it! We don't always get a tomorrow.

7) I am looking for someone to be my best friend. We can sit and talk for hours or sit silently and enjoy the sunset without having to say a word. We understand each others hearts.

I enjoy many things and can go from being dressed up for a romantic candlelit dinner to throwing some jeans on for a walk on the beach or a picnic in the park. Variety is the spice of life (or was that children.. LOL)
